@KnownHeretic Male violence. And bragging about it. In my experience if you politely turn down advances from men or transwomen you risk being verbally or physically attacked. This doesn't happen when saying no thanks to a woman, far more polite and understanding.
@TheDejaKing@Rothmus The accusation of rape in 2017 was an historic accusation from when they spent 5 years in high school together. Articles say he's 31, she's 35, he died at 31, 4 years ago so they was the same age. He died on the 6th was, found on the 9th, search warrant carried out on the 30th.
@Colonelblighty I suppose it could be, it wouldn't be much more effort. I've only just started thinking about this as the back up pens I got when my pump did break will expire soon and I don't want to get more to waste if I have another option
#doc what I want is an empty pen I can put my 1.6ml pump carts in to use in emergency if my pump dies. Does this exist? I don't want to get back up pens to throw out and replace when they expire, if I had a way to use the insulin I have if my pump breaks that would be awesome.
@Colonelblighty I've been looking but can only find pens that take pen carts not pump carts, and instructions to build an adapter to make this work. Any idea if the 1.6ml version exists or where to get one? Thank you.
@itstayuh I have that trouble too, I often eat 8 or 10 times in a day. It helps me to stop eating after a certain time 3-4 hours before bed, at least keep my sugars in range overnight, but sometimes this feels impossible to do.
@andislaps Yes but I feel like it's more because of neurodiversities, mental health and trauma then diabetes. Diabetes does affect my mental health tho so not unrelated.
@DiabeticDadUK ... I killed insulin on a 2 day camping trip, had pump clipped to bar and the cartridge was occasionally in the sun with the top I was wearing. On another trip I left insulin in my glove box, it's in shade, gotta be cool, nope, really warm, had to cut my trip short.
