I had Bing's AI generator produce images of trains in medieval miniatures. Fun to play around with. What strikes me is the rendering of text accompanying the miniature: looking just enough like medieval script, but otherwise gibberish.

@LUCAS_Leiden @DirkSchoenaers discusses a previously unknown text about the great city fire that consumed #Mechelen in 1342. @elckerlieke demonstrates that the visual language of 4 devotional texts resonated with the readers' daily experience but also led to introspection.

@DirkSchoenaers bespreekt een voorheen onbekende tekst over de grote stadsbrand die #Mechelen in 1342 verteerde. @elckerlieke toont dat de beeldtaal van 4 devotionele teksten aansloot bij de dagelijkse beleving van de lezers, maar ook aanleiding gaf tot verinnerlijking.
