@DannyShterev But you are defeating your own argument - if every club played to self sustainable model then yes it would work - but you also need to define your version of self sustainability- by investing in the club you increase its value and hence that essentially is sustainability!

Have never been fully FSG Out, but we cant survive @ the top with this model,so having done amazing for us its time to move on & not hold on & strangle the club for maximum sale output. Just because Hicks & Gillette were terrible it doesn’t mean we need to accept mediocre owners

@squeakee21 I can see the benefits of state investment but i don’t want to become a sportswashing facility. Clubs like Liverpool and United create enough revenue to not require state levels. Of owners invested £100m a year with our revenue we wouldn’t need state investment.
