@MrDanielBuck Their parents never noticed all through their schooling that they had no comprehension of stuff they read? For good and ill everything begins at home.
@DanFriedman81@Cornell Well, the kid was too foolish and full of himself to just reply to the offer "thanks, but I've decided to go with other options." He could then have privately chortled to his friends regarding his actual feelings and saved himself a lot of public grief.
@E_Barcohana Boycotts work. The Montgomery Bus Boycott (regardless of how or who sparked it) worked. Get enough Angelinos to boycott something important to the LA economy and you can squash this flat. But who has the guts and will to organize one?
@RachelMoiselle Yet some of the smartest ppl get all sentimental abt this being "a Christian nation" when it's not. We're a nation founded on the ideals of the Western Enlightenment-- not the same thing. If we haven't the courage to understand the difference we'll keep enduring Jew-hatred.
@wesyang The watering down of Christianity in East Coast states hasn't washed out the cultural remnants of Jew hatred that emerge at the least opportunity, like them 17 yr locust infestations. It's just nature.
@eugyppius1 Understanding reality is a slow process but once you see it you can't pretend you didn't. Step by step towards common sense and a hardening against the attempts of shaming by others.
@Mrs_Slocombe_@aimeeterese It's a choice not to think abt what you see and hear. I left lib media for FOX only to watch the full Rittenhouse trial & full Floyd bodycam video & henceforward did my own research on *everything.* It ain't the TV. It's the viewer.
@eugyppius1 I do think it was a fatal concession to the other side to use their labels and erase the ethnic diversity of Europeans and inadvertently accepting being turned into a vast pot of human cornmeal mush.
@eugyppius1 I am now collecting the wonderfully apt adjectives you apply to Michael Tracey (who is becoming another fave Substacker even when he lets his irascibility mislead him).
