🚨🗣️ Luke Shaw on the current squad:
"It's one of the best atmospheres I've ever known here. I've been here a long time now. I've experienced different groups, different atmospheres, but I'd say without hesitation that it's the most positive, the happiest, and probably the most talented group we've ever had."
If there was a manager you’d want to turn things around then it would be Carrick.
There’s a small part of me that hopes and wishes he still will but realistically he’s currently in an unfavourable position worthy of the sack.
We’ve been here many times before
It’s a concerning time for United and whether it was right for Martinez to speak out on the hierarchy, one thing is clear. We don’t have the team to compete in the CL. We’re there to make up the numbers.
@financialdopers Come on man. You’re playing the reigning CL holders. There shouldn’t be a few singles popping up… there should be a waiting list for people desperate to get a ticket.
Manchester United fans will welcome back the historic Stretford End ‘ticker’ for Saturday’s home game against Tottenham Hotspur.
The flag first appeared hanging from the newly built upper tier of the Stretford End in 2000 with ‘24 YEARS’ — marking when rivals Manchester City had last won a trophy, their 1976 League Cup triumph — but was taken down after City won the FA Cup in 2011, by which time it had risen to ‘35 YEARS’.

It was a seemingly innocuous email, sent on a Wednesday morning in January 2017, that started everything.
Arriving in the inbox of a senior official at Manchester City, it appeared to have been sent by an employee from European football’s governing body, UEFA, and contained a link to a financial compliance report.
The City official clicked the download button. That was all it took.
It was not a genuine email from UEFA but a successful phishing attempt by Portuguese hacker and activist Rui Pinto. City’s servers were breached, allowing Pinto to retrieve thousands of emails and documents from the club’s systems.
This week, almost 10 years on from Pinto’s first email, the Premier League announced that an independent panel had found City guilty of all but one of the charges against them, as The Athletic first revealed last Friday.
