@TeslaPatriot I don’t think it should be illegal. Maybe an IQ test to drive would be better. Lol. I have a lifted diesel f250 that is a must for ranch work but also have a Tesla for my daily.
BREAKING: NHTSA has filed a proposed rule to modernize FMVSS 108, the federal vehicle lighting standard, for autonomous vehicles that have no steering wheel or pedals.
• Turn signal, hazard, and high-beam control requirements would apply only to vehicles with manual driving controls
• Adds optional cyan "ADS marker lamps" so people can tell a car is driving itself
• Publishes Oct 26, with a 30-day comment period
Another federal barrier for vehicles like Cybercab is starting to come down.

@RatsTesla Even if it was on there will be situations that can’t be avoided. Perhaps this is one. No telling. The guy could have stepped out at the last possible moment. Who knows. Could just be a smear job
This is actually the worst fucking shit ever. You’re probably shaving years off your life if you drive ICE and deal with this. When I’m in traffic in my Tesla I don’t even notice. Not because I’m on my phone the entire time and don’t even look up or anything. Can’t do that for sure.
But it’s a total afterthought. Currently sitting here raging.
Please fix my shit asap
Tesla said today that they’re rebuilding the entire in-vehicle navigation system from the ground up with AI. It’s going to have voice integration, and will learn your personalized preferences:
Ashok: “It’s only right that we shouldn’t be depending on external people’s maps. So we are building our own maps, but not like the same way as traditional maps.
We are building an entire new architecture with essentially AI-based mapping and navigation. It’s going to be super awesome. It’s going to be integrated with voice. You can talk to it and ask for different routes. It’s going to learn your personalized preferences, plus also the fleet preferences. The collective intelligence of all the cars are going to flow into making the maps and navigation.
You’ll see the start and end of trips already use this technology pretty soon as part of the V15 release. Over the next several months, it’s just going to take over all of the navigation functions, parking, destination handling. We’ll know you better than you know yourself in some regard for the driving tasks. It’ll handle it fully.”
Can’t wait for V15. It’s going to include so many new features.
@rhensing I’m anxiously waiting for this. I got on spot on my daily route that is about 16miles with 3 speed changes and the car doesn’t consistently recognize the change. Two changes increase speed and the car doesn’t register the change.
I would like to see some type of collision avoidance at speeds. Ofcourse safety first. Not asking you to endanger yourself or the vehicle. Just scenarios that might show a slight response to a possible danger. Does that make sense? A blind corner with a stop sign with traffic coming. Is one I want more of.
