Charlie Kirk was murdered.

A wife lost her husband. Two children lost their father.

And Rep. Ilhan Omar went on CNN to explain why she refuses to honor his legacy.

Her words. Not mine.

Omar said she wasn’t going to be judged for refusing to honor a legacy she believes belongs in the “dust bin of history.”

She went further, saying people should move on and forget what she described as the hate Kirk spread.

Excuse me? You belong in a dust bin in Mogadishu.

But there’s something profoundly ugly about making a man’s assassination another opportunity to settle a political score.

You can reject someone’s beliefs without stripping the moment of basic human decency.

You MADAM spread HATE every single day.

And you can defend free speech while recognizing that political assassination should horrify every American, regardless of party.

That’s the part I cannot get past not Dylan Mulvaney grilling her. The hate she spews at Americans.

Charlie Kirk spent his life arguing about politics and never HATED anyone.

His wife and children now have to live with the consequences of someone deciding those arguments should end in violence.

And we’re still debating whether the man deserves a moment of humanity?
