Another day, same hot and humid weather. Better get used to it, because it will be like this through at least Tuesday of next week. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop again in late afternoon today. #ncwx#scwx#gawx
🥵☀️Be aware of the upcoming heat late this week and early this weekend as heat index values get close to heat advisory criteria of 105 degrees.
If you can, shift strenuous outdoor activities to outside of 10am-5pm.

We are continuing to monitor storms in the area, which are expected to bring rain and high winds to the area over the next hour. An update on gate opening times will come shortly after the system passes.
Gates will not open at 4:30 p.m. Crews are assessing storm impacts, and the potential for additional inclement weather remains.
Remain sheltered, either in your vehicle or at a shelter location (LJC, Fike or Advanced Materials Innovation Complex.)
