Has Andy already breached the Ministerial Code?
It certainly raises big questions.
Cities cannot be singled out for government investment, jobs or favours without rigourous appraisal of all potential locations.
But check out the timeline…

110 acres of prime agricultural land, 42% of the entire farm has been stripped away from a 2nd generation farm tenant with a 3 generation lease legally! … for a SOLAR factory!
Under the lease land could be reclaimed by the landlord if they could get non agricultural planning permission. The local council refused but Ange overruled the decision.
Leaving the farm unviable, with little compensation and losing food producing prime land forever.
All for the greater good.
The ultimate flex in any social situation is just listening to others without needing to talk about yourself. It’s interesting how much it stands out when someone does this. Clear sign of confidence.

This is the first long-form piece I've written in a year:
Why this topic? Because, for starters, 250,000 girls were raped. Unimaginable and appalling though that is—the reality is much worse:
How long was the plotting going on? And were the civil service in on it?
A fully kitted out, shiny new headquarters but still nothing on the big issues: immigration, economy, health - just deafening silence.
I find it worse that Burnham & Co had (seemingly) done so much prep for a gimmick and so markedly little on the issues that matter.
I have pledged to personally fund legal representation for Christian street preachers who are facing police action simply for preaching the Bible in the UK 🇬🇧
Christians in the UK, should be not be treated as criminals simply for sharing the truth of the Bible.
The only hope for Great Britain is retuning to Jesus Christ. It’s time for people to start attending Church again.

These warnings are from the manufacturer of folic acid.
So many risks! Why are they being ignored.
Folic acid is a drug and should not be in our food.

I had a good conversation with the Chief Whip today where she offered me a return to government. After careful thought, I declined, with respect and with thanks.
I resigned in June because I did not believe the defence funding on the table was adequate for the threats this country faces. I said so publicly and I still stand by every word.
I've always said I would serve where I am asked. In normal circumstances, that is exactly what I would do, but the argument I resigned over has not yet been settled. To take another role now, in another department, would suggest that it has. Until the country is spending what it needs to spend on its own defence, my job is to keep making that case, honestly and constructively, from the backbenches.
The appointment of John Healey as Chancellor changes the picture in one important respect. John resigned for the same reasons I did. He is a man of his word and he has made it clear that he will deliver on the commitments that led him to leave government in the first place. The Prime Minister knows exactly what John stands for and that appointment is meaningful and I welcome it.
The people around the Cabinet table and across government are doing difficult jobs in a difficult moment and I will do everything I can from the backbenches to help our party and country succeed. Where I believe more needs to be done, I'll keep making that case in good faith.
There is also serious work to be done on Northern Ireland Legacy, opportunities for young people, getting the country fitter and healthier, and I will keep pushing on all of that too. That's the job of a backbench MP and I take it seriously.
Birmingham Selly Oak sent me here to deliver for them and that is where my focus remains... 🫡🫡
Given today’s horrendous news, I’ve been up to church to refresh Ann’s flowers. More red white and blue, plus Honeysuckle for scent, and as ever, Rosemary for remembrance. Replies off. Sorry, but as it’s sub judice, there must be no speculation.
Jordan Peterson breaks down how to shut off social anxiety the moment you walk in:
"You go to a party, your heart's beating. Why? The party is a monster. Why? Because it's judging you. It's putting you low down the dominance hierarchy, because that's what a negative judgment is"
"That interferes with your sexual success, and that means you're being harshly evaluated by nature itself. So you're confronting the dragon of chaos when you go into the social situation"
"And what do you do? You hunch over, and that's low dominance. I'm no threat. Well, that's not going to get you very far. But it's a logical thing to do in the face of a tyrant. You look at the king and you're dead. I'm no threat, I'm hunched over"
"And then what's happening internally? What are people thinking about me? Am I looking stupid? Am I looking foolish? I'm awkward. I hate being here. I'm sweating too much. It's all internalized, it's all self-focused"
"You can't tell someone to stop thinking about something, because they get caught in the loop. It's like don't think of a white elephant. White elephant, white elephant, white elephant"
"What you do with socially anxious people is you say, look at other people. Look at them. Because if you look at them, you can tell what they're thinking"
"If you're ever speaking to a group of people, never speak to the group of people. That doesn't exist. You talk to individuals, and then they reflect for you the entire group, because they're all entrained. You look at one person and they broadcast you everyone's thinking"
"As soon as you focus on the person, not you, you push your attention outward and you start watching. Well then all your automatic mechanisms kick in and you stop being awkward"
"If we're talking and I'm looking over here, I don't know what you're going to do next, and I'm going to put disjunctions in, like bad chords in the melody of our conversation. And the reason is I'm not paying attention"
"That's why the eye is the thing at the top of the pyramid. It's the thing that enables you to win the set of all possible dominance hierarchies"
Hi @marksandspencer your 'only 6 ingredients' toasting loaf contains wheat flour which has 7 additional ingredients including folic acid, a man-made drug making the total ingredients 13. I think people should know and you should correct this nonsense claim.
