I was sitting in my Cybertruck parked by the beach, behind another blue Cybertruck, watching the sunset when an older gentleman checking out the trucks approached me.
He said "Excuse me, I've been seeing these trucks everywhere. Who makes them?!"
I told them they were from Tesla and he started asking me questions. He asked how much it would cost to get one, what the range and charging was like, the common questions you hear from people thinking about switching to EVs.
He said he lived in Vegas and came to Southern California several months out of the year, and Tesla had just built a big Supercharger by his house, and that he always saw them on the road. I showed him the truck and told him he should get one.
You see all this anger, hatred and outrage online... it's nice to go out in the real world and just see people fall in love with the products.
The Cybertruck is truly a masterpiece of engineering. I love mine so much. It's really exciting to see how it's bringing new people into the EV world who wouldn't have considered it before.
@techAU Tested Smart Summon today in Sydney, Australia, works great. Navigate on Autopilot doesn’t seem to activate, still shows two blue lines, not one centre line and didn’t take the off-ramp from the M4. Lane change on indicating worked.
I’ve gotten a little better from 1%. Just had a weird phone call from Tesla. They want me to have the Beta. @elonmusk think everyone will be safer with me on FSD. Excited to try it out.
I am excited to announce the 1st #Tesla Model Y has been detected on Oz shores in Vedaprime tracking. A release candidate model has arrived. This could be being used by Tesla for Australian certification, crash testing, or to educate staff on the new model.

This is just insane. To think we could’ve ordered 40 million Pfizer doses last June and been an “example” for the rest of the world on vaccine rollout.
We were literally offered that chance. No, really.
@bigyahu That’s crazy, very lucky Al, glad it worked out ok, time to get some new underwear! Did your car try to avoid the truck? I’m picking up my M3P next week.
Any highway speed accident you walk away from is a good one. Luckily nobody got hurt when this truck changed lanes right into my Model 3. Quorra's got battle-scars but still driveable. Got to love a Tesla's always-on cameras when providing proof of who was at fault too.
Breaking news! The Model 3 SR now will come with floor mats as standard! For those that always want to haggle for floors mats and full tank of fuel, the hard work has been done for you. $145 saving there! 😁 #model3au@Tesla
