@SheabiaForever@KGl0T4bwGnlJq1p Dude - context … they were not pulled because they were Africans… it was because only women and children were evacuating at first … please have context to what you are talking about
@solanchala When does it became ‘a joke’… no matter who did it the killing of your fellow human - someone like you or a mother killed that left her children - should break our heart .. are we that NUMB?
@HenockKidane@AbiyAhmedAli keeping quiet when bully kills 2000+ civilians is taking the side of the bully. Remember Adwa? how the world left Ethiopia? - that is exactly what Ethiopia did here. A day will come where Ukraine will be peaceful again- but they know Eth was not their friend in this darkest hour.
@AbiyAhmedAli Embarrassing- history will judge. ..like siding with Germany in WWII - we will look back and be ashamed of our leaders in this day. And just like we do (about Italian invasion) - Ukraine will remember that Ethiopia was not their friend in this darkest hour of their country.
@Achu_AO@AbiyAhmedAli Actually we are acting like 'the west' that we have blamed for so long. When #tplf was killing our brothers - the west said exactly that - both parties should restrain. ( instead of putting the blame on tplf) Now Ethopian government is turning blind-eye for Russia's aggression
@Fatbrain111@AfarWatch@AbiyAhmedAli actually this response makes eth govt exactly like the west - 'asking for restraint by both parties.' Isn't that what the west said when tplf was killing our brothers? embarrassing! i agree history will judge.
@Nicholasbariyo@WSJ CORRECTION ---- Ethiopia's war on TPLF not Tigray. This is false and dangerous rhetoric - Tigray is part of Ethiopia and Tegaru our poor brothers who are suffering in this war.
@_hudsonc For someone affiliated with @ACAfricaCenter … you have no sense of cultural context- you keep interpreting his actions with your urban American context
@nimaelbagir ..you mean loss in #Tigray and #Amhara and #Afar - aka - #Ethiopia? We feel the pain ourselves more than anyone, so please stop explaining it as if you care more about our ordinary citizens more than we do. it's our brothers dying, our children left orphan, our sisters suffering
@getachew_temare@Clubhouse@tashableu Let’s not give voice and amplify crazy ideas and individuals… this is an extreme view and as such does not represent average Eritrean - who is as poor and struggling for better life as any tigrayan or Ethiopian.
@eyderp@EthioHRC@eyderp -- thank you ! thank you ! for the balanced and fact based reporting. The integrity of your reporting makes me proud of being npr member.
@ForeignPolicy May well be the west - but the west has to start listening to the voice and grievances of people of Ethiopia. Ethiopians are rightfully disappointed by the rhetoric coming from their long time ally. Time for the west to adjust approach to Eth
@getachew_temare@AbiyAhmedAli but this is the truth no matter how bitter... how many times did Abiy go there with elders? how often were they begged for peace?
