@iFrank0 the Mac Monte-4.1 will follow the Win version (because there's already Mac Monte-4.2b3 for devs)

@anricka yep because Monte is a "technique", not specific exploit, it should be reusable like that (and so far, has been)

Please don't complain too loudly about how slow it takes :) The Win version uses filesystem instead of RAM: slow!

Since Apple still serves the 4.1 IPSW (not blobs!), we'll do a Windows redsn0w release for untethered 4.2.1 via Monte-4.1

Can any Mac/Win users with Wi-Fi Sync installed look at your process list, tweet (or DM) the actual name of the program running on Mac/Win

The only solution in both cases is to uninstall Wi-Fi Sync first (as mentioned on the Wi-Fi Sync web page itself.

Thanks to all testers who noticed that Wi-Fi Sync breaks the JB Monte process the same way it breaks normal restores too
