@DakRandall Im not sure i understand the platoon part. They need another RH bat, and they desperately need a DH. Alnso fits that role perfectly. WC is still the everyday first basemen. Agreed Durbin was the obvious mistake, although it didn't look that bad at the time.

@EdHand89 Hes accumulated more WAR this year than any complete season since 2023. He was a bottom 4th perctile defender the last few years and below average his entire career. This year, so far, hes in the 99th percentile in OAA. Best bet is that its an aberration

@Jared_Carrabis I still think hes gonna be a really good player. His bat speed is excellent (87th percentile), he crushes fastballs, and he significantly cut his k%. Pitchers are just spamming changups and he just cant read them yet. Understandable given the time missed due to injury
