MWSC’s new MD, @HussainFahmy09 has promoted former Minister @Adamshareefz’s daughter, Maryam Nashaya, to Manager on 10 May. Just three weeks later, on 31 May, she received a triple promotion via memo MWSC-A/5/C/2026/10, skipping the AGM and DGM levels, to General Manager of HR.

Many long serving staff members with over 25+ years of service have not received any promotions.

She has now begun threatening staff and has already fired several employees she personally dislikes.

Nepotism and favouritism have never been higher in any gov.

Yes, #Ithubaaru faction member Shifana @aishwajyh is a beneficiary of the peanut ADK land rent.

She will say that she just runs a wellness centre there as an outsourced service for ADK and that she doesn’t rent any land herself. But here’s exactly how she is a beneficiary. If ADK were paying the full market rate for the rent, do you think they would be paying Shifana the same high fees for the wellness centre that they are paying now? No, they couldn’t. The fee would have to be significantly lower, cause ADK would need to cut their overall expenditure to absorb the much higher rent. Their expenditure on the wellness centre (the fee paid to Shifana) is Shifana’s revenue.

🔹Rate: 11 MVR / SQFT

🔹Total rent: 718,542 MVR/month

🔹Market Rate is 80 MVR / SQFT so total rent should be 5,225,760 MVR / month

🔹@ADKNashid is paying 4,507,218 MVR less every month which is 54,086,616 MVR worth of unfair benefit per annum from government.

Right now, Shifana is making millions of MVR every year (from that 54 million MVR EXTRA profit ADK is making) cause ADK can comfortably afford to pay her millions precisely due to the artificially low rent and reduced expenditure.

The land is owned by the state, which means it belongs to the citizens. So, in effect, ADK is paying peanuts to the state (to the citizens), operating a highly profitable business on that land and sharing part of those super profits with people like Shifana.

In other words, this is wealth being transferred from poor citizens to Shifana.
Shifana can argue with a wall all she wants but it won’t change this reality.
