During MicroG Testing week, our members had the opportunity to work with NASA Lunar Simulant on their tools. This material is the closest engineers have to the real thing on the moon, allowing them to ensure effective dust resistance on mission EVA equipment.

This week at Johnson, university students from across the country participated in the 2023 Micro-G NExT Challenge. The students were challenged with a variety of tasks including tool design for future @NASAArtemis missions to the Moon.
