@InvertTheWing Can't blame him for players missing sitters, but changing from their well drilled man-to-man to zonal marking whilst saying, "I don't care about set pieces, mate" is very much on him. If we're not shipping 3 goals every game then luck doesn't matter so much
@SkySportsPL Completely ignoring the fact that nuno gobbed off about him in a press conference and a tv interview. Can anyone guess which tv company the interview was for?
@Nesto25 Because we've been coached Nuno-ball for 1.5 seasons, parachuted in new signings at the latest possible moment, changed manager 3 games in to change the style and then expected it to click instantly. Turns out our owner is an xg wanker hiding in plain sight all along
@DeadlineDayLive@MailSport He's not daft enough or desperate enough. If he does leave Fulham, it will be for a champions league club or at the very least a normal club who haven't shat the bed.
@arfurdaley88 The damage is largely done. He's got to make a decision quickly. Then it will largely be down to luck whether it's the right one andvwe avoid relegation
@bhastings316@jaacknffc If he goes man to man instead of zonal then we're pretty much back to not having to score several goals per game to get a result. I bet he sticks with zonal though
@SussexTottenham Seems too stubborn to accept strengths, weaknesses of the squad and how they've been coached. I didn't follow him closely at Spurs but I wonder if he got lucky by inheriting a squad that suited his style just enough?
@AgeofAnge Zonal marking when they've been coached man to man forever is the problem. All he needs to do is compromise on that and he will pick up enough points to keep his job while he implements his attacking style. He won't though because "it's who we are, mate"
@RedDogNF The desire is there. They just haven't been coached long enough to play the style he wants them to and he's too stubborn to compromise in the meantime. Easiest fix would be man to man instead of zonal at set pieces but I don't think he will even make that change
@InvertTheWing Too stubborn to compromise between his own style and the style the players have already been coached to play. I hope you're right and I'm wrong
@paulmorley19 At what point in the season did those clubs make the second sacking? I'm guessing close to the end when relegation was very likely anyway
@johnmichaelw@adamsummerton He seems too stubborn to compromise between his own style of play and the style that we've been coached. If, for example we go man to man instead of zonal marking v newcastle then I might start to agree with you
