@OuterWebster Honest question, with such a relatively low market cap, why hasn’t illumina or one of the other big players just bought bionano already? Seems like such a no brainer if the tech is as promising as it sounds.

@KentRLac @alexmarz @jenniferelle_ @SaskParty Said employees make less money and pay less taxes. Taxes paid by new businesses won’t offset the loss of gov profit at the retail end. Even if they did, SK is out hundreds of good jobs, all to benefit a few investors.

@BradJamieson @hinz_tamara I understand this. But as I asked before, there was a case for new construction of these schools/hospitals in the 80s, why not now? It sounds like you’re saying that the money was better spent elsewhere. Were these facilities poor fiscal choices initially?
