The Seven Cabins Fire burning in the Capitan Mountains in southern NM more than doubled in size overnight. The fire is now 6,361 acres and 0% contained. Evacuations are currently in place from State Highway 246 to the ridge top of the Capitan Mountains. #NMFire #NMwx

A quickly growing wildfire has prompted evacuations for the community of Nara Visa, NM. The Line Fire is burning in northern Quay County and moving to the northeast. US 54 in Texas is also closed. #NMFire #NMwx
