Okay Carney 🤦🏼♀️ Your embrace of Eid’s Values betrays Canada’s Christian core.
On June 6, 2025, at an Eid al-Adha celebration in Ottawa, you stood before Canadians and declared:
“We can pray differently, we can gather in different places of worship, but all of us must come together around the values of Eid – the values of community, of generosity, and yes, of sacrifice. These are Muslim values. These are Canadian values.”
With this statement, you didn’t just misjudge the nation’s pulse – you abandoned its very soul.
Your call to rally around the values of Eid is a disgraceful capitulation to a faith whose public actions too often clash with Canada’s Christian foundation, and your refusal to see this is nothing short of spineless.
Canada was forged on Christian principles – individual liberty, charity, justice, and respect for human dignity. For over 200 years, these values, rooted in the Bible, have built a nation of stability and freedom, from the British North America Act to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Yet you have the audacity to suggest we should embrace the values of Eid, as if Islam’s tenets somehow define Canada’s identity. Have you forgotten the heritage that made this country strong, or are you deliberately turning your back on it?
Look at the streets, Mark. Across Canada, we’ve seen blatant acts of Muslims blocking public roadways to pray – a calculated display of superiority and control over those they deem infidels, namely us.
These disruptions aren’t expressions of faith; they’re power plays, holding Canadians hostage to public spectacles that snarl traffic and sow division. Such actions spit in the face of Christian values like humility and respect for shared spaces.
Even if you believe Muslim leaders who claim Islam is a religion of peace, these street-blocking prayers contradict their rhetoric, revealing a faith that, in practice, often demands submission over coexistence. This has no place in Canada – none whatsoever.
Your speech glosses over the chaos we’re witnessing. Antisemitic violence is surging across Canada – synagogues defaced, Jewish Canadians harassed, campuses turned into hotbeds of intolerance, and you turn a blind eye.
Protests, some violent, disrupt our cities, with many tied to radical elements within Muslim communities. The echoes of Hamas’s October 7, 2023, atrocities, cheered by some on Canadian soil, still linger. And yet you preach “community” and “generosity” as if these are the defining traits of Eid’s values. Get real.
Wake up, Mark. The sacrifice you’re asking for seems to be Canada’s own identity, offered up to appease a faith whose extremes fuel division and strife.
Canada’s Christian roots built hospitals, schools, and a society where freedom thrives. These values welcomed immigrants, including Muslims, to contribute, not to dominate.
Your call to “come together” around Eid’s values insults every Canadian who cherishes the principles that have sustained us for centuries. It’s not unity you’re promoting – it’s submission.
Step up, retract your misguided words, and defend the Christian foundation that made Canada great. Anything less is a betrayal we won’t forgive as you pile on more division and volcanic tempered rhetoric framed around conformity instead of morality.

If Bill C-2 passes, it will become a Criminal Code offence for businesses, professionals, and charities to accept cash donations, deposits, or payments of $10,000 or more. Even if the $10,000 payment or donation is broken down into several smaller cash transactions, it will still be a crime for a business or charity to receive it.
This is similar to Quebec's Bill 54, adopted in March 2024, which empowers police to presume that any person carrying $2,000 or more in cash must have obtained it as the proceeds of crime. Police can seize the money, and the citizen must prove his or her innocence to get it back.
It is true that very few Canadians use cash in the amount of $10,000 or more for a single purchase or donation, but once doing so becomes criminal, it’s easy for the federal government to reduce the legal amount to $5,000, then $1,000, then $100, and eventually nothing.
Restricting the use of cash is a dangerous step towards tyranny and totalitarianism. Cash gives citizens privacy, autonomy, and freedom from surveillance by government and by banks, credit card companies, and other corporations. If we cherish our privacy, we need to defend our freedom to choose cash, in the amount of our choosing. This includes, for example, our right to pay $10,000 cash for a car, or to donate $10,000 (or more) to a charity.
Law enforcement already has the tools to fight crime. Perhaps they need a bigger budget to hire more people, or perhaps they need to use existing tools more effectively. In a free society, violating our right to use cash is not the answer.

@deb_bidulka@PremierScottMoe With Carney's extra $130 billion spending, (between the insane increase in already absurd taxes, &inflation) no one will be able to buy anything of their own. This is exactly what globalists like Carney want. They want you to be dependant on them. It only starts with health & edu
@RickThethanski @CBCNews@liberal_party I actually think it's more sinister than this. I think the Liberals are purposely tanking our economy so that we will all be reliant on them for handouts and turn us into a communist dictatorship like they obviously want.
Very every disturbing message I've received:
"Hi Mario, I live in Ottawa and most of my friends work for the government in different departments. All of them have told me that their union representatives began telling their members to vote Liberal in late January. I have not heard of any "Union written orders" about this election interference, because what they do, is doing the rounds of each buildings, by foot, one employee at a time, to tell them verbally to vote Liberal. This way they're not leaving any trace of interference....
That is not only at the CRA, this is ALL government buildings, of every departments in the Ottawa/Gatineau region...My friend work for DND as a civilian, they other at Justice Canada, and another one at the other at the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC)"
Today was an important win for Canada and Alberta, as it appears the United States has decided to uphold the majority of the free trade agreement (CUSMA) between our two nations. It also appears this will continue to be the case until after the Canadian Federal election has concluded and the newly elected Canadian government is able to renegotiate CUSMA with the U.S. Administration.
This is precisely what I have been advocating for from the U.S. Administration for months.
It means that the majority of goods sold into the United States from Canada will have no tariffs applied to them, including 0% tariffs on energy, minerals, agricultural products, uranium, seafood, potash and host of other Canadian goods.
There is still work to be done of course. Unfortunately, tariffs previously announced by the United States on Canadian automobiles, steel and aluminum have not been removed. The efforts of Premiers and the federal government should therefore shift towards removing or significantly reducing these remaining tariffs on a go forward and ensuring affected workers across Canada are generously supported until the situation is resolved.
I again call on all involved in our national advocacy efforts to focus on diplomacy and persuasion while avoiding unnecessary escalation. Clearly, this strategy has been the most effective to this point.
As it appears the worst of this tariff dispute is behind us (though there is still work to be done), it is my sincere hope that we, as Canadians, can abandon the disastrous policies that have made Canada vulnerable to and overly dependent on the United States, fast track national resource corridors, get out of the way of provincial resource development and turn our country into an independent economic juggernaut and energy superpower.
The guy who wants to hike your taxes has been secretly hiding his.
As Liberals spent years calling small business owners and farmers “tax cheats”, Mark Carney was shielding his investments from Canadian taxes.
Why doesn't Carney disclose his assets so we can see what else he’s hiding?
A record-breaking crowd showed up in Edmonton to send a clear message: the NDP has taken this city for granted for too long.
It’s time to turn a chapter and build on Edmonton’s endless strengths, grow its economy, and create more hope for the future!
Think about this… @MarkJCarney wants the leadership, so the establishment disqualifies a winning competitor & keeps her $350K deposit - donated by hardworking taxpayers.
@MarkJCarney needs to get elected, so he turns his back on Alberta & instead the establishment kicks out a 3-time MP from Nepean - one day before the deadline.
If any employee experienced this harassment in the workplace, we'd take it to the Employment Standards Board & the racism? Straight to the Human Rights Commission.
Does @MarkJCarney think it’s ok for the elite of the @liberal_party to bully, silence, defame, & disqualify women & Canadians from multicultural communities & then ask for their vote?
As @RosieBarton would say "look inside yourself" 😉
When Black Lives Matter and pro-Hamas terrorists protest and riot it's thumbs up from the progressives who truly run Canada and moralize about it. When ordinary Canadians dare share their opinions it's an insurrection. And none of this will change under Klaus Carney. Quite the contrary:
@MarkJCarney@ArcelorMittal_D Do you think we’re stupid?
You literally went on national television & told us all that you were going to impose the carbon tax on steel because “who buys steel?”
Now that Trump beat you to the tax, you show up for a photo op? You’re the definition of a hypocrite.
@StephenKing It's our own Canadian government that has failed us! The NDP-LIB coalition LOVES this tariff war! This is the greatest excuse for them to try to hang onto power and send all of us into poverty and complete dependence on them.
Really?
Maybe I don't want Canada to fall into the hands of China? I fear the Islamification of Canadian society to the point that I fear walking down the street?
That maybe as Ontario elected 24 MPP last night whose party supports Hamas and communism I see in Trump the possibility that Canada can shake off the malaise of WEF stooges.
Trump not only forced Canada to wake up the thousands of drug over doses our country facilitates, but the lack to concern over our border.
Every single cop in Toronto blames handguns smuggled in from the USA for the violence on our streets. And yet --- until Trumps ultimatum Canada was happy to let terrorists into Canada and guns pour over the border.
Suddenly Canada has found our Nationalism again! In uniting again a common enemy supply chains all over Canada are being rebuilt. And who do we have to thank?
Yep. Trump. So tell me more about Canadian values. Values that allow hamassholes to take over our streets, terrorists to come to Canada and then try to bomb the USA. That would welcome China's police stations, spys and $$ for our politicians but refuse to investigate.
Yea. You are mentally disturb if you don't support Trump. Can only pray that @PierrePoilievre is elected soon so clowns like you can be ignored again.
@JustinTrudeau Why would they? You don't even want Canadians or canadian businesses to prosper. You just want to keep demolishing Canada until we cry out "please, government, please save us from our poverty. We'll do anything you say.." Then enters the WEF's one world government. No way.
