My favorite thing about Zig isn't the language itself, but "zig cc".

You can say it's just a "Clang wrapper", but it makes C cross-compilation a lot easier than using Clang on its own.

Need a RISC-V musl build? Just pass target=riscv64-linux-musl. Want bare WebAssembly? target=wasm32-freestanding. How about Windows on ARM? target=aarch64-windows-gnu.

Very convenient.

I get that the "rewrite it in Rust!!!" people can be super annoying. But Zig is quickly turning into the bluesky of programming languages.

This entire Rust vs Zig thing is becoming more stupid every day.

Just use the damn language you like or find most relevant for your project.

@AishwaryaDevv To piggyback off this, I’m building an agent that doesn’t have to connect to external data sources. As a dev, I don’t know the workflows that people are using OpenClaw and Hermes for. What are these workflows? A very experimental approach, but want to replicate real workflows.

@tbpn @bchesky I don't know if this has been coined yet, but I have been trying to develop something I call Callable Composer UI. The agent has specific UI elements that fit like a puzzle. To show flight options each card has the same data schema but shows variations of that data.
