Thank you for telling the truth.
Frederick Douglass asked this country one question in 1852. This country has spent the last 174 years, avoiding the answers.
🚨OH MY GOD: Trump didn’t just walk out of the interview with Kristen Welker, he THREW the microphone on the floor and STEPPED ON IT!
What a thin-skinned, insecure man-child.
Trump on Elon Musk: “he knows those computers better than anybody. All those computers, those vote-counting computers,” then immediately adding, “we ended up winning Pennsylvania like in a landslide.”
I want to say thank you, and farewell, to Stephen Colbert before his final show this evening.
But I also want to remind folks of the corruption behind his cancellation. Watch.
#BREAKING: Legendary #Maddow: “We are now about sixteen months into what has been from day one, a concerted and intense targeting of Black Americans specifically by this president and by this administration…When Trump and his top political donor Elon Musk then started just lopping off huge swaths of the federal government…the largest and most egregious cuts targeted federal agencies that employed a disproportionate number of Black employees. Reporter Erica Green wrote about this for…NYT: ‘…nothing had moved backwards in the federal government for Black Americans this quickly or this far…since Woodrow Wilson came in in 1912 and resegregated the federal workforce…”😳
ICYMI: Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has admitted the DOJ excluded images showing “death, physical abuse, or injury” from today’s Epstein files release.
Let that sink in.
The government is acknowledging graphic evidence exists and chose to withhold it, while redacting names tied to Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful associates, including Donald Trump.
Yet, nothing has happened for months now.
🚨 Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent caught off guard on Venezuelan assets?
The Trump Administration claims the U.S. Treasury now controls billions in Venezuelan oil proceeds.
Congressman Sean Casten asked him directly:
“The Trump Administration claims the Treasury has authority over Venezuelan assets. I asked Treasury Secretary Bessent directly what grants him this authority. He seemed to have no idea that he controlled these assets, let alone the authority behind them.”
Louisiana ranks near the bottom in damn near everything that matters — economy, crime, education, healthcare, infrastructure — but instead of fixing that, they’re focused on taking power from a majority Black community in New Orleans.
This bill to remove the Clerk of Criminal Court isn’t about reform. It’s about control.
You can’t say you believe in local control and then override local voters when you don’t like who they elected.
I said it plain: this is reconstructionist, and it’s racist.
You use the government as a job farm building jails in your to employ your constituents and then talk efficiency and eliminate jobs in Black communities.
You’re failing your voters and some of them are starting to see the light.
Every vote you make reflects your moral character.
History will remember. So will the voters.
