There is a beautiful caution from the house I live in, which says that keeping your hair can and will impair your learning, force you against authorities, and influence you into hard drugs till you fail. I kept my hair, and obviously, it’s failed me miserably! I remember scoring all Fs on my final exam. Now I'm homeless, uneducated, and incredibly useless! Please cut your hair before getting an education; be different.

Society cannot be judged under one lens, for it is not a single entity. It may look like we are chasing a valuable concept: uniformity, by forcing all students to keep a low cut. But what has uniformity got to do with equality? Rome wasn't built in a day, and I'm hoping someday, we will lay the first bricks!

Unemployment.

Some neighbors out of concern, others out of curiosity and a few out of spite would say things like:
“I thought you were a graduate.”
“Didn’t you finish NYSC the other time?”
“Don’t you people have connections?”
“I know when you started uni, you should have finished by now.”
“Why are you still at home?”
“I heard that your friend Xyz has relocated abroad, I hope you are processing yours?”
“It’s hard for people who studied that your course to get a good job in Nigeria o”
Etc.

To stay busy, I spent every other day at my mom’s shop, just across the house. God knows I wasn’t happy, but I stayed diligent. When I wasn’t cleaning or attending to customers, I read, researched, and jumped on any piece of valuable information I could find just to keep my mind active and distracted.

It was during one of my research days I stumbled on the HR Career path for the first time and I got really curious to learn more.

Grateful for God’s blessings and how far we’ve come. 🙏

At age 26 I was still struggling with what I want to be in future, it was scary and I know many people are facing this issue now.

Last two years, when we organized #OccupyJulorbiHouse- somehow tapped me that @stonebwoy had just pulled through.

The first thing his handlers did was bring him to come talk to me. We shared a brief moment where he expressed his support for what we were doing and why it is important.

Then he switched to Ewe and told me he was proud of what I had done. And then asked me, still in Ewe, to tell him truly and in confidence whether this was partisan driven. I told him absolutely not. And that I know what some people were claiming. But that time will vindicate it.

It has been the commitment of @Ghfixthecountry to open up a non-partisan platform for mobilizing the Young Ghanaian to challenge misgovernance and secure our freedom. We are committed to that.

Today some claim because @stonebwoy did not go out to campaign for the NDC he ought to be blacklisted. I say this only vindicates Arhbwoy, and his desire to lend his platform for national causes and not partisan agendas. I am drawn to people like him.
