For the sake of transparency, and because I have always shared with you the struggles and challenges my family and I face, I feel it is only right to explain why I created a new fundraising link on Chuffed.

My mother now needs surgery, a need that alone would have required a new campaign. But our original link was created back in early 2025, and since then, our circumstances and the needs of our lives have changed and grown.

I felt that continuing this journey through a new link would make our current situation clearer, rather than having someone visit an old campaign and assume that the need has already been met.

We are expanding our work in the Nuba Mountains through the opening of a Kitchen in Hajar Al Jawad, a town that lies south of Al Dilling.

Hajar Al Jawad was heavily impacted by the RSF siege of the area and suffers from extremely high levels of malnutrition. We were told by the town’s people that we are the first to arrive with aid in more than 3 years since the war started.

The small donations I receive are no longer enough even to cover the needs of a father with one child, and I am a father of four young children who need food, medicine, and basic necessities every day. I have begun to feel exhausted and helpless in the face of my children’s needs, but I am still trying with all my strength to remain strong for them.
