Imo, last year’s Iowa team was a top 3-5 team in Ferentz’s tenure (7 draft picks!). Had a couple of things gone their way, I thought that team belonged in the Playoff

While I have tons of respect for Ferentz and that staff, I’m basing my prediction off of all the lost production from last year’s Iowa team

The 3-3-5 Defense is just fun. As Bud Elliott hypothesized, perhaps they’re tapping into some sort of market inefficiency (not spending big money on pass rushers, and instead are generating pressure through stunts and various blitzes)

I think success is highly contingent on the three interior D-Line transfers hitting (Crowder, Chapman, and Kaba)
