Hello Editor @IndianExpress , you carried these misleading and potentially life threatening advertisements of @PypAyurved & @yogrishiramdev for the longest time.
You owe an apology for misleading your readers and the public.
And, a commitment of not repeating it ever again.
[1] Tell folks, that record number of HNIs are leaving India, people get angry.
They say: more HNIs in China are leaving.
[2] Tell folks, that good jobs are disappearing in India. People get angry.
They say: but entrepreneurship is picking up.
Everyone will become an entrepreneur now.
[3] Tell folks that average household savings % of GDP is going down. And, your taxes are rising.
They get angry.
They say: but, record number of Mercedes, 10-10Cr flats and IPL tickets are getting sold.
Point is: you can't tell economic facts to folks who are politically brainwashed.
Every one who drinks knows drinking is harmful. We all hurt ourselves in so many ways. Drinking is one way of self hurt. We humans are not rational. Human instincts can be regulated but not eradicated. Human cravings would always overcome any adverse government control. Sensible governments regulate sin products because they know complete ban would never work.
These flowery words were written by @SrBachchan when Sakshi Malik became the first female wrestler in India to win an Olympic medal. Now that she was forced to quit due to politics. There is NO tweet by any Sportsperson or Actor in her support. It's not like they are not following the news. It's just they didn't get any order to tweet on this. Like in the case of Kerala Elephant.

What happens when opposition is absent from Parliament?
More importantly, How does it affect you?
Here's the simple truth
Point of Parliament:
It is the job of our Parliament to make good laws for us, the citizens. The way that is done is by deliberation and discussion.
If the government is proposing laws, our MPs are supposed to point out errors, highlight deficiencies, ask questions and also call our bits in the law that are anti-people.
Their job is to make the government THINK about what it is doing and whether it is pro-people or not.
Role of opposition:
MPs from the ruling party in power usually don't do all that because it is seen as a challenge to their own government & leadership. They accept and support whatever the government proposes.
The job of opposition MPs is to say things that the ruling establishment will NOT say. They are the reason why laws become better and robust. Plus, they are the medium through with people can find out about anti-people provisions in the laws.
Why YOU should care:
I understand if YOU have decided to side with a political party, but you also need to understand that government is perpetual, only the parties that run it change.
LAWS, once cleared, DON'T.
Lets be realistic, a party in power wants to maintain that power. And if they have laws which can be exploited that KEEPS THEM IN POWER, they will naturally use it.
So if a bad law is passed by this government, it can be used by the government after that, and after that, and after that. Until some government comes in to put a stop to it. But by that time, decades will have passed and countless citizens would have suffered because of bad laws being implemented badly.
Right now, it is your favorite party doing it, tomorrow it will be the party you hate doing it.
And that should scare the shit out of you.
Removing opposition from Parliament made sure that the are laws being put in place that can be exploited for the next few decades. And its already too late to stop it.
So all you, as citizens, can do right now is call out this shitty behavior of the current establishment and be selfish about this. Think about yourself, how it affects your life and TELL PEOPLE ABOUT IT.
(thanks for attending my ted talk.)

Domestic air travel and hotel tariff has become so expensive these days. It makes more sense to fly out. Whatever PM says, even destination wedding is cheaper outside of India.
🚨Coca-Cola has launched its 1st alcoholic drink in India in a test phase.
India is the 3rd-largest market for alcoholic beverages, with a market size of USD 35 billion.
Now Coca-Cola has 2 weapons for Indians health: Sugar & Alcohol. 😈
Nehruvian idealism was all about projecting we are better and then aspiring to make that real.
Neoliberal India is about projecting its bettering west in all its games of deceit and double standards.
Depends on your taste which aesthetic gives you better peace of mind.
Tata can buy aircraft at 5% GST but you pay 18% GST when you buy- soap, toothpaste, icecream, hair oil or a computer.
Now tell me if you are governed by elected leaders or 'ruled' by a Mafia.
Then some basterds claim being 'tax payers' & condemn the poor as 'non-tax-payers'.
@Politics_2022_@AjitNagrgoje Wasn’t @ProfCong formed by @INCIndia just for that to capture the urban voters. As one of the earliest member I always thought that #AIPC was a great idea badly executed. Pains to see this as a supporter
