@POTUS @BetsyDeVosED pressure to reopen schools cannot come before pressure to mandate masks in all 50 states. Masks MUST be required in public in order for schools to have a chance of reopening. #scienceisreal

Perspective- be thankful, make sure we are focusing on being present in the moment, focused on the things we do have and not what we don’t have!

3 things for teachers to remember:

1) Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. It’s not a time for perfection; it’s a time for grace.

2) The students would still love to hear from you. Stay connected if you can.

3) Take care of yourself and your family. They’re still your #1.

Try to keep some routines from the classroom. Today I’ll checkin with Ss to ask them what they’re thankful for. #ThankfulThursday #SEL #wholeteacher #selfcare #remoteteaching #edchat

Give yourself grace. Remember your best will change depending on the circumstances. #selfcare #wholeteacher #remoteteaching #edchat #pinehilledchat

Establish #TeachFromHome boundaries: set office hours and clearly communicate them to parents and students. Do not feel obligated to respond to emails at all hours. You are entitled to a personal home life. #selfcare #wholeteacher #edchat #remoteteaching

[Reflect+Refine @reflect_refine]

There is a difference btwn working from home and living at work. It’s up to us to create and enforce boundaries. #selfcare #wholeteacher #schoolathome #remotelearning
