Have you ever stopped to think about the irony of a graveyard? God created man to live forever in the presence of his glory. He created the earth to be a place of joy. He created it to be a place of life. He created it to be our home. Instead, we die and the earth swallows us up. We bury our dead bodies in the earth. What a somber picture of death. Memento Mori. Remember your death dear Christian. And remember that Christ is making all things new. Maranatha! Come quickly Lord Jesus.
"This is why there is so much heat in the public debate over evolution and intelligent design. Fundamentally, it's not a battle over science; it's a battle over independence from God. The problem is, independence from God means slavery to everything else -- our passions, our desires, our failures."
~ Michael Lawrence
"The modern world breeds pragmatists, whose first question about any idea is not 'Is it true?' but 'Does it work?' Young people tend to be activists, dedicated supporters of a cause, though without always inquiring too closely whether their cause is a good end to pursue or whether their action is the best means by which to pursue it."
~ John Stott
"Certainly, Arminianism is βnaturalβ in one sense, in that it represents a characteristic perversion of biblical teaching by the fallen mind of man, who even in salvation cannot bear to renounce the delusion of being master of his fate and captain of his soul."
~J. I. Packer
@SquirrelReFX@kangminlee I guess it makes sense for who it makes sense. It will never make sense to me. Never been using my phone and thought "man, wish I had a tablet right now." Also, when I use tablets, I don't use any smaller than 11" so a 7" or 8" tablet is meh...
@RScottClark@RevTonyPhelpsRI Awesome! I had the privilege of meeting Chad about 8 years ago at a conference. Great guy! Happy for him. To God be the glory!
