@meta_enix @DrewPavlou Unless things have changed, I never had to show ID for the 20 years I voted there. You just had to either have the poll card (that was posted to your house) or give your name and address. Also Irish citizens living in the UK are also allowed to vote.
So I think you may be wrong

It apparently raised to prominence with Zeitgeist in the latter 00s, then was recycled in Bill Maher's religious "doco" and I noted it in the film Heretic recently.

More misinformation. Trump was found 'liable' for 'sexual assault'. He was not found guilty. This was a civil case with lower standards of proof, not a criminal. When you call him a rapist you are speculating. I couldn't say that he was a rapist or not. And neither can you. If Trump had been found guilty of rape in a criminal case he would be in jail.

Atheism moved on, they should too...

Part of me wonders if you were trying to keep your US followers onside. Is that really nitpicking?
