i’ve been thinking about how we can use conferences as an opportunity to onboard new folks while livening up the format. here’s what I have…

First please stop ✋
- Allowing sponsors to pay for speaking spots
- Inviting the same people to speak
- Packing days with 15+ presentations

Try this instead…

🤝Partner with non-crypto communities in the cities we’re attending to connect with and onboard new builders. This helps break our lil echo chamber

🍃Work with local vendors to create sustainable items native to the country instead of another cotton t-shirt

🧩Use roundtables or hands-on activities to hear new voices and refresh the format

👷‍♀️Proof of hacking! Encourage more building by requiring proof of hacking for party access. This ensures attendees are contributing, not just partying

😴Help attendees focus on important things like sleep, working out, and eating well so they can contribute meaningfully. I’d love to see a sleep clinic or ice baths

📈Ensure there’s equal focus on growth and adoption as there is on the product

🎮 Host a Demo day for the local community, targeting non-technical folks
