@AbouraZinou@fwramin@rezero_ice That’s awesome. I do love reading that people love the adaptation as much as they do. I much prefer the glaze now compared to the anime community response back when season 1 was airing.
@rezero_ice Flawless writing, alright direction. They didn’t nail how much of a fight for survival the last loop was imo. Shaula’s entrance and exit were extremely tame. The environment destruction was only present when it was narratively useful, when it should have been used to enhance…1/x
@fwramin@rezero_ice Yeah ngl I’ve just kind of come to accept that the current direction is carried by the writing. It’s not terrible but i feel like re zero deserves better. The fan animation did a much better job with THE scene imo.
@yanuahcandraw@Hideo_Fufujima it also can be noted that meili is in a position where she is trying to find something to latch onto. she just lost someone that she has been dependent on for basically all her life. so her approaching him shows she did desire to seek a deeper relationship with subaru.
@yanuahcandraw@Hideo_Fufujima its not a directly stated, but its heavily implied that the answer is a deeper connection with her. "Subaru"'s monologue to her served as an open invitation for her to share her "worries" and "suffering" with him. Only though, if she truly desired it. 1/x
@garmadoncar mine aint the same but its similar. i lost interest in keeping up with the series after arc9 phase 3 cuz the whole thing that hooked me in the series was how rbd was used to explore the mysteries of the world and solve problems, and that just isn't what the focus is anymore.
