Political violence is contagious. It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all.

The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.

It seems like the only reason why Trump is going after Massie is because Massie is standing by the same anti-war position that every Republican, including Trump, has pretended to hold.

Massie has failed Trump's loyalty test by refusing to bend on his principles when it matters most.

It's crazy we're in a situation where one man can at a whim determine winners and losers and slap enormous taxes on companies whenever he wants with no limit (when taxation is a congressional power). A 100% tariff is completely absurd. This is an industry that's a net exporter, well capitalized, and growing in the US. There is no 'emergency' here (which is the basis that he's using these emergency tariffs for).

What's next, a 100% tariff on all YouTube videos made outside the US? Who knows, it's up for a few people in the white house to decide.

Forcing Google to sell Chrome is just stupid. We already have plenty of alternatives, like Firefox and Chromium. All the value in Chrome is that Google is incentivized to CONTINUE to invest heavily in moving the web forward. It's a classic wealth v riches misunderstanding.
