6 But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
7 and not only by his coming but also by the comfort with which he was comforted by you, as he told us of your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced still more. - 2 Corinthians 7:6-7
To everyone out there suffering, here is a comforting thought: the one through whom the entire world was made knows what it means to suffer (Heb 2:18). What you are experiencing is not only within his omniscience, but within his experience. You are not in uncharted territory.

Thank you for these exhortations about biblical literacy. I'm working on a Bible study series giving an overview of the story of Scripture for that exact reason. Can you give me the details for the Lifeway survey you mentioned here? Thx

Lament Songs by @Theportersgate - Beautiful music, strong lyrics. Over a third of the Psalms were lament yet it seems we have forgotten this. Fits well with my readings of #DarkCloudsDeepMercy@MarkVroegop
In episode 15 we talked about the meaning of “&”, our favorite two word phrase in the Bible and the reasons behind the name of our second son. #acalltoremain
@MarkVroegop I just started reading Dark Clouds Deep Mercy. Really needed this - thank you. Making notes already and thinking of people to share this with.
