@Katy_primary97 My little girl is a June ‘22 baby (I know that’s still different to August 31st) but she is catching up to the older one already, she acts older than her age (to an exhausting extent!). Whatever will be, will be- Good luck!!
@32ozRhuleAid @britneyspears I read one that teeth do this after being dosed up on lithium, which she has said she was forced on. I’m unsure if there is truth in the side-effect but it was said a lot when someone else asked that question.
@MissHudsonHist Mine was in the police, came in to sort out some problems where kids where having bikes stolen. He decided to watch from the prep room- where I was hanging out (I’m a Science teacher). 7 years ago today we had our first date (now we have a 1year old/house/engaged!).
@RogersHistory 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️ pick me 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️ compulsory inset ‘CPD’ whereby all staff were taught the original choreography to MJ’s Thriller by a professional dancer. Safe to say a few people ‘zombie-stepped’ into their performance management meetings that year to show off their new useful skills…
@RogersHistory We are losing teaching staff at my school who’s positions aren’t going to be replaced. So the number of jobs available don’t equate to those leaving/moving jobs. Realistically, demand is even higher
@RogersHistory You try to keep someone back in the absence of support. Because you know you have to be seen to be doing something. They get up and walk off. Call you a name in the process. They know no one is going to stop them, no one will get them today. They walk off in confidence…
@RogersHistory So, for clarity…A non-teacher who has been out of education for a long time, writes an article about teaching, for the Sun. And refuses to allow responses to it. I mean it really screams ‘credible’ to me 🤣🤣
@miss_mcinerney@TeacherTapp pupils have a planner for homework. We tell them their homework to put in their planner. We then put it on Sims to to their parents, what the pupils put in their planner. It also is recorded on Google classroom. Three levels of homework recording negating perfectly good planner.
@RogersHistory I never complete a full task in an hours free/PPA. I only start/do a chunk, no matter the task. Then the rest carries over after school. Except my practical booking sheet- because I’m a little scared of our science technicians.
Cole on #loveisblind is called Cole Barnett. He looks like Barnett, he acts like Barnett and sounds like Barnett. And his family won’t go to the wedding…is that because we’d recognise them from Barnett’s wedding? They’re related and no one can tell me otherwise
Left for maternity at 38weeks the day of the first Biology exams so my classes had me all year- was exhausted and large 😂 The results are good though and no one can claim them as their own 👌🏻👌🏻#resultsday2022#teaching#edutwitter
@Mr_Keyte I’m on UPS3 and on the 2nd month of maternity pay (and my 1st month with 1st child) and it’s already a struggle financially. How can I enjoy my time off with her? It’s so sad.
@nadhimzahawi@TheSun Pupils tend to have pre-formed opinions in lessons coming from home. Maybe you want to publish guidelines to censor parenting also? 🙄
@smithsmm Nobody has applied for my maternity cover- it’s a decent school with a good rep. Head said that they’ve never had no applicants before, I highlighted however that Science teachers are a rare breed these days.
