@SandraMJdev My method is called pillow palace fwiw hehe. I basically build a giant incline behind me when I’ve slept or need to rest my bad back like that. My rec: just grab any sleep you can on a weird cycle if the position is tough. Wear yourself out with a game or read, rinse repeat.

@SandraMJdev For sure you can if you still want! Sorry, was workin. Muscle development is GREAT both before and after for sort of shifting your perception about scars IMO. But the bit about a little prior work seems to resonate with sooo many surgeons who can follow the pec line 🥰

@SandraMJdev You’ve got this! My least favorite part about recovering was sleeping sitting up. I can’t even sleep on my back. But you’ve got this. It’s annoying to be gentle with yourself & move slowly BUT you only get to heal once! As my friend who ripped out carpet days after his DI said 😳

@SandraMJdev Also incision/scar placement as far as I know from additional professional relationships with docs, is significantly easier with some chest muscle development. Talented hands can place it nicely with your curvature if you develop/ed the pecs some!

@SandraMJdev There may be some choices for folks on the smaller end, but if you’re at all above even B-C range or have enough skin there that it wouldn’t shrink much after keyhole surgery then double incision is generally recommended. Happy to chat in DMs if you ever want, had my DI in 2010.
