Finally watched the #OpeningCeremony
I wondered why the torch went back on the Seine. And then... THEN! This unforgettable image of the cauldron! An obvious reference to the pioneers of aviation. Until I realized it went back to the exact same place, 241 years later!
Being in the wild, I've only seen small bits of the #OpeningCeremony Looks epic and grandiose, and I can't wait to watch it in full🤩

#OTD exactly 8 years ago, I saw my very first #northernlights from a plane over Greenland. Many cold nights later, I think my photo techniques have slightly improved 😜
