The Brunsons aren't the only father-and-son duo with a Knicks story to tell 👀

40 years ago, Karl Towns Sr. walked into a Knicks tryout chasing the same dream thousands of New Yorkers have carried for generations…

He didn't make the team 🚫

The dream ended before it ever really began.

Fast forward four decades…

His son arrived in New York carrying the weight of championship expectations, a city desperate for basketball glory, and a 53-year title drought hanging over the franchise.

And when the final buzzer sounded, Karl-Anthony Towns wasn't just part of a championship team.

He helped deliver the title that generations of Knicks fans had waited their entire lives to see 🙌

From a father getting cut by the Knicks...

To a son helping bring a banner back to Madison Square Garden.

The Brunsons have an incredible Knicks family legacy.

The Towns family has one hell of a story too 🍿
