@adshubert@jojos444@AdamParkhomenko@RepBeatty The heart says one thing, the mind says another. The daily assault on democracy and the rule of law triggers the heart. The mind steps back and sees the process. Then the heart seizes up in panic that time is running out. The mind says breathe.
This is absolutely chilling. Scott Pelley says Bari Weiss wanted the story shaped to match Trump’s version of events, not what the video showed. If accurate, it’s the corruption of editorial judgment to please the ruler, and a warning of what capture of the press looks like.
@Gianl1974@frankmalone110 I think you’re crediting him with too much agency. Yes, he threw off the mic, but he struggled to stand and walk away. At that point the mic was collateral damage.
@IvankaTrump
I know you have the whole Albania situation and all, but girl, you might want to step in here like we’ve been talking about for years now. Your stupid brothers and your stepmom aren’t going to do jack shit. Window of opportunity, princess.
Donald Trump and the GOP are trying to steal, suppress and gerrymander to stay in power. Elias Law Group has 83 active voting and election cases in 42 states. We will not stop fighting. We will not stop winning. ⚖️ 💪🗳️
🚨🔥MAJOR BREAKING: Trump's Inflation Numbers With Independents Are Historically Bad.
According to CNN's analysis, Trump is now 70 points underwater on inflation with independent voters.
That's reportedly worse than Jimmy Carter's standing on inflation during the 1980 election.
Think about that.
Trump's biggest advantage in 2024 was the economy.
Now inflation has become one of his biggest liabilities.
Watch him get up at the end and try to walk away
He’s really struggling now
EVERY TIME HE DISAPPEARS
He comes back much weaker
I keep saying .. ur POTUS won’t be walking soon
🦽 bound.
This is the type of crisis that a Democratic president would be held personally responsible for by the media. Instead it’s getting virtually no national attention despite the issue being directly connected to federal cuts enacted by the Trump administration
For almost a decade, I've analyzed how Trump's behavior/actions was consistent with someone who appeared to have no intention of leaving office legally, constitutionally, and peacefully. That bore out on January 6th, 20221.
There are many examples in Trump's 2nd term where that would also appear to be the case: Unparalleled corruption, publicly stating that he doesn't think/care about Americans' financial situations, financial decisions (demanding lower interest rates) that will cause inflation, getting entangled in a Middle East war, putting his name on everything, etc.
However, it's possible that Trump's 2nd term actions aren't motivated by a delusional/grandiose belief that he won't be leaving in 2029.......
......but are instead the actions/behaviors of a guy who doesn't believe that he's going to live to the end of his term.

Now I get it!
“The kicker: the same people killing the monitors want to mine the deep sea for minerals. So they are destroying the only tools that could measure what that mining does. That is not an accident.
That is the point. You cannot see the damage if you break the instruments first.”
This is really stupid, and it’s not getting enough attention.
The Trump administration is pulling a working $368 million ocean monitoring system out of the water, equipment taxpayers already bought, built, and sank into the deep ocean.
And they are doing it right when the oceans are behaving in ways that alarm the scientists who study them.
Record-breaking temperatures.
A system of Atlantic currents that may be lurching toward collapse.
The response?
Yank out the instruments and walk away.
That is not budgeting. That is smashing the gauges while the engine is on fire and calling it efficiency.
For what? The Trump administration dressed it up as a “nimbler approach” and “smart lifecycle management,” which is fancy nonsense for “we shut it off and hoped nobody would ask why.” There is no return-on-investment analysis. They cannot show taxpayers save a dime, because the gear is already paid for and the science it produces protects real money and real lives.
