@MikeWingerii In Rev 14 the 144,000 stand with the Lamb on Mount Zion—Israel’s army now revealed as the redeemed.
They bear His name, sing a new song none else can learn.
The army of the Lamb has become the choir of the Lamb: victory through worship and witness.
@MikeWingerii The 144,000 recall Israel’s war census—“a thousand from each tribe” sent to battle (Num 31:4–6).
John adds another twelve: the fullness of God’s people under both covenants.
The Lamb’s army conquers not by sword but by faithful witness.
@sola_chad Christ is the true Israel and Seed of Abraham. In Him all God’s promises find their fulfillment. As High Priest, He repr. all who are united to Him by faith — Jew&Gentile. The church’s identity as the people of God flows from union with Christ, not replacement of ethnic Israel.
@malfletcher Well, i do believe God raised up a shepherd like Cyrus as deliverer of His people…. But it wasnt Trump. I think we should be very careful projecting modern day world leaders as messiah-like figures.
@LionHirth@HenriBontenbal Dutch government has the net-metering rule (“saldering”) for solar panels which makes it way more interesting to invest. Germany does not have that, instead you would have to buy a battery or so to store your electricity. Batts are expensive.
