Spoke to Mohit Takalkar for @thewire_in As always, he came up with nuanced observations and piercing insights into art and life in the most nonchalant manner! https://t.co/24EdmK6VbQ

Spoke to @jeejivisha about her exceptional film Tighee for Sunday Mid Day, Mumbai. Full interview here
https://t.co/9Zvm51rNn5 @appadappajappa Not there in the interview, but she mentioned your efforts to get people to watch the film with a lot of fondness.
@appadappajappa Yes yes yes! Having friends who send you highlights from books they read and know you'd appreciate has been one of the best things to happen to me.
Two good films this week. The first is the Marathi film, ‘Toh Ti Ani Fuji,' which explores the toxic ex-lovers template in refreshing new ways.

Less than two months ago PCMC didnt have tree data for Wakad -Sangvi RFD.That data still absent from their docket, yet they plan to remove 439 trees & replant 681. Details?Still missing. @PCMCSarathi@CMOMaharashtra@AjitPawarSpeaks@PuneRivers
Amazing campaign by Puneites to save #Pune's rivers. Hope @Dev_Fadnavis gives an ear and stops concretisation of the rivers and stops heavy tree felling required for that, which is/will lead to life threatening flash floods. @PMCPune@narendramodi
@mohol_murlidhar Quoting from @IndianExpress report of 7 Feb: 'Mohol claimed that there was not much opposition to the RFD project.'
These are some of ~5000 Chipko Marchers, many from a socioeconomic class that do not usually come out on the streets for a cause. @PuneRivers
Nearly 5000 citizens attended the Chipko march yesterday, pledging to save rivers, expressing their opposition to the erroneous RiverFront Development project. Hear our voices and stop this destruction. @mohol_murlidhar@SidShirole
The regular #Punekar hardly knows her rivers, unless they've stepped off the bridges that offer pathetic views. Look beyond what the lazy gaze affords, and a wonderland of sensory pleasures unfolds.
Go support the #RfD, but at least understand the price you are paying for it! 💁🏻♀️
‘Pal me parlay hovegi.. bahuri karega kab’ – Sant Kabir’s words could well be a call for citizens action in the face of riverfront destruction. Read Guest Article by Renu Deshpande Dhole (@renudhole ), Pune-based special educator and a freelance writer: https://t.co/iwMZIZMzky
This place is one of the Pune's best kept secrets, but that itself has become a problem. Now there is a grave danger that it will continue to be a "secret" that only people who has experienced will reminisce. Hopefully it will not get to this right @renudhole
@stevenlockett@TBChronicle Thank you, Steven. The river management and restoration expert that I've quoted is @Parineeta_River . Her absolutely brilliant lecture at Ecological society taught me so much about rivers.
I love this article from @renudhole for @TBChronicle which considers the complex nature of a river.
As a unique ecosystem it is a mix of function as well as form; with dynamic shifts in volume & flow (esp an Indian river) it is ever changing in relationship to the riparian zone.
