Catholics from across the country have made the pilgrimage to St. Louis to celebrate the beatification of Archbishop Fulton J Sheen, a gifted teacher, speaker, and author, whose legacy will continue to inspire and evangelize around the world.

I am grateful to see so many of the Faithful gathered here today to commemorate this special occasion in St. Louis.

I was proud to vote for this funding in the Working Families Tax Cut legislation, so our rural hospitals have the necessary resources to provide patients with the top-notch healthcare they need and deserve.

This is a transformative investment in rural healthcare that will support healthier families for generations to come.

I will keep working with the Administration to ensure our local hospitals here in Missouri continue to modernize and have the funding flexibility to support patients close to home in the ways that work best for them.

I was devastated to hear that Platte County Prosecutor Eric Zahnd passed away.  I worked closely with Eric on many criminal justice and victims rights issues, and he was a champion for the vulnerable in our world.  Eric spent his life fighting to put criminals behind bars and help victims find justice, his legacy will inspire generations to come.  Missouri will feel this immense loss and I am praying for his wife, Tracy, as well as his two sons, Luke and Benjamin, as we all mourn his passing.

The Financial Services Committee held a markup where we approved legislation designed to strengthen transparency for Main Street investors.

When working families sit down to plan their financial futures, they are looking for security and peace of mind.

They want to know that their hard-earned savings are protected and that the choices they make today will support them through retirement.

This should be easy, not overly complex, and that’s why I spoke in support of the bipartisan CLEAR Forms Act, legislation to establish concise and understandable disclosures so investing is easier and simpler for hardworking Missouri families.

Today I spoke on the House Floor to urge my colleagues to support my legislation, the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act.

The silent support of the murderous Russian and Iranian regimes must come to a definitive end.

This is a critically important bill that will hold nations accountable for facilitating Russian sanctions evasion and extend crippling sanctions on the Islamic Republic of Iran.

We will never forget those who lost their lives 25 years ago, nor will we forget the sacrifice of those who stood up in the face of evil and fought back when it mattered most.

During last week’s visit to the Flight 93 crash site, I had the privilege to see and say a prayer at the point of impact. I continue to pray for our nation and for all the innocent lives lost on 9/11 twenty-five years ago. May God bless you all.

It has been 25 years since our nation was brutally attacked on 9/11/2001. Thousands of lives were taken by terrorists intent on killing innocent civilians, and that day changed our nation forever. On that tragic morning, the best of our nation stood up and ran towards danger, putting their own lives at risk to save the lives of strangers. We pray for the families still grieving the immense loss from that day and we thank the first responders, law enforcement, and everyday Americans who bravely sacrificed to protect those around them.

Just last week, I joined my colleagues on the House Intelligence Committee in visiting Shanksville, Pennsylvania to honor the heroes of Flight 93 who fought back against the terrorists to prevent even more deaths. It was incredibly moving to lay a wreath at the Wall of Names at the crash site to honor their selfless sacrifice.

One year ago, conservative warrior Charlie Kirk was murdered for speaking his mind. We pray for his family still mourning his loss, and we will honor his legacy by boldly advocating for conservative policies even in the face of radicals who want to silence us.

My office is cosponsoring a Service Academy Day on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Jefferson College Field House in Hillsboro, MO.

The event is from 9:30am—12:00pm and will feature representatives from all five United States Service Academies: Air Force Academy, Coast Guard Academy, Merchant Marine Academy, Military Academy, and Naval Academy.

I had an informative meeting with Anheuser-Busch to discuss their ongoing investment in our St. Louis community. Anheuser-Busch is an economic engine in St. Louis, and I especially appreciated hearing more about their $20 million investment that supports the St. Louis brewery and will help grow good paying jobs in our region.
