The Wisconsin Constitution is clear: no convicted felon can hold public office.
If Judge Dugan refuses to resign, impeachment proceedings should begin immediately and I’ll proudly vote yes to impeach!

To the brave men and women who run toward danger so others can find safety, thank you.
On National First Responders Day, we honor Wisconsin’s law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, and dispatchers for their service and sacrifice.
Today we honor the United States Navy and the proud tradition of service at sea.
The strength of our Navy has kept our nation safe and free. Thank you to all who’ve served and continue to serve in the U.S. Navy!

June is #DairyMonth in Wisconsin!
In the 31st Assembly District, dairy farms are the backbone of our community and economy.
This month, support local farmers, enjoy Wisconsin cheese, and thank those who make our state #AmericasDairyland! 🇺🇸🧀 #ThankAFarmer
Healthcare policy isn't about bureaucracy. Yesterday we made healthcare more affordable and accessible. Protecting Direct Primary Care, expanding contraceptive access, and expanding palliative care were all passed yesterday. This is common-sense conservative leadership.
Studies by the US Department of Labor have shown that WI has paid out as much as $250 million in improper unemployment payments. That’s why we passed legislation that will modernize our unemployment program and ensure safeguards are implemented to prevent fraudulent claims.
The Assembly passed legislation aimed at eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse in our state’s unemployment program by enabling database cross-matching and improved ID verification to ensure ineligible claimants are not getting benefits.
Our workforce package aims to modernize WI's Unemployment program by improving identity checks, requiring weekly eligibility crosschecks with state and national data bases, and extending the statute of limitations to prosecute those who scammed the CARES ACT during the pandemic.
Our reemployment assistance bill is modeled after successful policies in other states where individuals spent less time on unemployment and were more successful in returning to work sooner, earning higher wages, and retaining their job.
Out of the $250 million improperly paid out, only 10,626 of the payments - which is 0.7% - were audited by the DWD.
Republicans are working to root out fraud from the unemployment insurance program and increase accountability in the system.
Employers all across WI are facing a workforce shortage.
Unemployment should be a safety net to help individuals who are in need after an unexpected job loss. The program needs to be refocused to get unemployed individuals back into the workforce as soon as possible.
