This week is National EMS Week!
Thank you to all the dedicated EMS professionals and first responders who answer the call every day to serve our communities in times of need. This week, we recognize and appreciate their unwavering service, sacrifice and commitment.
On Tuesday I was honored to receive the Friend of the Towns Award from the Wisconsin Towns Association. I appreciate the recognition for my work for local town governments.
Last night, I voted in favor of a bipartisan tax relief plan that would have provided nearly $3 million to property taxpayers in the 39th Assembly District. Unfortunately, the state senate failed to pass it.
I will always fight to return surplus dollars back to the taxpayers of Wisconsin instead of having it sit in Madison. My full statement is below.
Today the Wisconsin Assembly is in Special Session voting on May 2026 Special Session Assembly Bill 1.
The bill cuts income taxes on tips and overtime, provides tax rebates, increases funding for special education.

This week, I had a wonderful time meeting with students from the local school districts about their experiences as members of the Future Farmers of America (FFA). I really enjoyed talking with them about what they've learned from this program and hearing their personal stories and how it's shaped their lives.
Today is the Wisconsin State Assembly Session where we discuss and vote on important bills.

Next at 7:00 p.m. is the Wisconsin State of the State address. This annual tradition, dating back to our state’s founding in 1848, is where the Governor reports on the condition of Wisconsin and shares priorities for the year ahead.
