@BetteMidler Hi @BetteMidler! I’m trying to do the right things for the right reasons. I’m passionate about ending gerrymandering, funding schools, and protecting our environment. But no one can do this alone. Thx for the support. @Sister_District @mariaforpa@LizforPA
Proud to have @GovernorTomWolf’s endorsement. We can’t be focused only on Federal offices. Now, maybe more than ever, the States are critical. Vote on November 6th.
Today, I’m proud to endorse even more Democratic candidates who aren’t just running against something, but for something—to expand opportunity for all of us and to restore dignity, honor, and compassion to public service. They deserve your vote:
Too many people, from babies to young adults to the middle aged and senior citizens, are afflicted with cancer. It is the second leading cause of death. Let’s all join together to STAND UP to this terrible disease! #StandUpToCancer
@DingledineSteve @mariaforpa It’s not about just electing Ds. It’s about electing Ds who will do the right things for the right reasons. As long as Rs have majority control, progressive legislation will never make it out of committee.
@DingledineSteve @mariaforpa At the state level in PA, to increase funding to schools, protect women’s reproductive rights, increase minimum wage (we’re still at $7.25), increase funding for environmental protection, and finally pass LGBTQ legis (can be fired in PA for being gay).
@DingledineSteve @mariaforpa At the Federal level, to impeach Trump and stop right wing judicial appointments. If we had a Democratic majority in Congress, we wouldn’t have the new tax law and Roe v. Wade wouldn’t be on the chopping block.
