Next Thursday, join our colleagues over at @Zer0Books to mark the launch of Susan Finlay's new novel, 'The Ultraviolet Catastrophe' which is set among Berlin’s eighty-plus outer-space start-ups. It takes place at Spike Berlin on July 16th, and features readings and performances from Zack Darsee, Tracy Fuad, Nina Hanz, Gabriella Hirst, An Paenhuysen, Hilary White, and (possibly) Patrick Kurth on themes of distance, technology, ecology, futurism, and human belonging.
Some dates for the calendar this summer/autumn - further details coming soon!

This man is a threat to our democracy. He backs violence and extremism.
Blaming a group of people for the awful actions of an individual leads us to a very dark place.
Musk, Lowe, Farage, Robinson - these men don't give a shit about this country, they want to rip us apart.
Elon Musk can say what he likes about me but I won't stay silent whilst foreign tech billionaires, money earned off the backs of real workers, try to interfere in our democracy, incite violence in our communities and tear apart our country.
Time for him to pipe down.
It would appear Nvidia is literally doing an Enron.
Specifically, it has reinvented the Chewco Maneuver:
Create fake "third parties" to absorb unwanted liabilities, fund with your own capital to prime the pump, then get rubes (retirement funds) to eat the risk.

On Repeater/Zer0 Substack, Tom Sperlinger explores how his ideas about literature and education changed during his time teaching in the West Bank, and what such encounters reveal about the nature of pedagogy and the role of a university under occupation: https://t.co/nDHrgxZXaW
