@Alex47852949994@vladlobachevsk2@StephenM Right. I may have used the wrong word. However, courts do what they have to under the constitution to make sure the laws passed by Congress (which has constitutional power of immigration), is respected
@Alex47852949994@vladlobachevsk2@StephenM The constitution gives Congress authority over immigration. Through the Immigration and Nationality Act, Congress then delegated the executive with enforcing it. So the executive’s enforcing is subject to Congress’ wills. And courts are only enforcing what Congress passed as law
@jnkomaho@SylvesterKabomb@PSSEKABIR I bet if the white man did it, you will call it science.
How often do u hear Africans use dogs to sniff & detect drugs or bombs? However, in the West & in the East, they have trained dogs to sniff & detect drugs or bombs. Africans also know to make animals behave a certain way
@iQwatson I had long running comments under that article. Find them and prove me wrong. My position is that the reason for Africa’s non development can be blamed both on Africans themselves and also on external actors. It’s disingenuous to say 100% of blame is Africans
@oldmfr@Sachs0420@gplee472@nytimes This is not borders. This is immigration law. 2 different things Further, the constitution gives Congress power over immigration. No SCOTUS can change that. Only a constitutional change can change that
@oldmfr@Sachs0420@gplee472@nytimes The overturn, if any, will also eventually be overturned whether by the same court system or by the same body having the constitutional authority to make laws
@Sachs0420@gplee472@nytimes So, individualized analysis right? U have no evidence that every single asylum applicant from say Togo goes back to vacation in their country. For that reason, u make an individualized assessment to punish those who go vacation and not to penalize those who don’t.
@gplee472@nytimes Yet a president single handedly stopped processing when over 300 members of Congress passed laws so that he process them. You wanna say some thing about a a person single handedly doing things? Talk about that. The judge is just enforcing what over 300 congressmen decided
@Virginia193144@instablog9ja I guess the first rule then is to date a man WITH SENSE who leads you into prosperity and a positive life, not one who will lead you into a ditch. It’s no point leading into a ditch.
@jeffcharlesjr@RichardHanania In inner cities which have the most h-1b jobs, Blacks & Hispanics use unemployment centers the most. It’s unfortunate though that employment centers don’t actually teach the skills needed to get these jobs.
