This past Memorial Day, I took time to honor several people who gave the ultimate sacrifice, including my father, who died from Agent Orange exposure after fighting in the Vietnam War. To all Vietnam Veterans, thank you for your service and your sacrifice.

Standing alongside this community, I was reminded that remembrance is a responsibility. We honor them not just in ceremony, but in how we live—by carrying forward the values they fought to defend.

For more than a century, U.S. Border Patrol agents have been the thin line between order and chaos at our nation’s borders.

While too many in Washington debate, they act—intercepting deadly drugs like fentanyl, dismantling trafficking networks, and protecting American communities from those who seek to harm.

Their job isn’t easy. It’s dangerous, demanding, and too often thankless.

Today, on the anniversary of the United States Border Patrol’s creation, we recognize the courage, grit, and dedication of the men and women who wear the uniform.

I will continue fighting in Congress to ensure they have the support they need and the respect they deserve.

In February 2023, PRC-affiliated Volt Typhoon compromised a Massachusetts water facility. Last month, CISA warned that a U.S water facility was hit with over 1,900 hacking attempts from Iran’s IRGC.

Modern warfare is now a confrontation between opposing operational systems rather than merely opposing armies—and our adversaries, namely Iran, are currently seeking to disrupt and destroy the operational capabilities of the key systems facilitating the functions of our drinking water and wastewater utilities.

This isn’t a joke. While hard-working families across the country have been looking for government accountability, California’s medicaid program has more than doubled.

It was clear during the Biden administration that Democrats didn’t care about border security despite the actual humanitarian crisis their open border policies caused. The fact that President Trump has put a stop to this, to them, is unforgivable
