This is a weird time to have good news, but I have good news! This story has been 7 years in the making, and it's finally going to make its way out into the world as a real live children's picture book! It should hit the shelves in Spring 2026, and be available everywhere!
Here's my #kidlitartpostcard featuring #Octavio meeting a new friend. Octavio's debut book comes out in Spring 2026 from Capstone, I can't wait to share it with you all! Open to all kinds of kid lit illustration work. Thanks!
Happy #PortfolioDay! I'm a kid lit (children's book) illustrator and author, agented by Fuse Literary and shopping my books around for a publisher. Here are some of my pieces, for a glimpse at what I do :) https://t.co/Vf0KcFbeyl for more portfolio. Cheers!
It’s important to me to focus on the belief and hope that we can make the world better instead of worse. But I also want to remember to appreciate the good that is already here, and that is what inspired this piece. Happy Monday, hang in there everyone! #kidlitart@EastWestLit
@BrianLaRossa Fascinating dive into the subject. It makes good sense that consistency in typography can help neutralize the confusion brought about by the logical inconsistency in the way English is spelled/written.
