@InvestorOfJAMMU We dont watch or follow @ishmohit1 for stock recommendations. We learn from him on how to analyze businesses and then invest. His contribution is invaluable to budding investors.
A colleague and friend at ServiceNow was forced to leave within a year after his role became redundant.
He was well-settled in his previous organizationโan association of 8+ yrs. But lured by the brand name and a fat package, he made the switch. When things went south, he tried reaching out to HR and Business Heads, but nothing worked. He had no choice but to resign.
But this is where the interesting story starts.
He had his own house, a liquid corpus of over 5 Cr, and a family to support. He also had a passion - he had been tracking stocks and mutual funds for decades.
He studied the sector, saw the potential, and decided to jump-in. 6 months ago, he cleared his MFD, CFA, SIF and several other exams. He launched his own company, built a portal, and reached out to his network.
His strategy? Selling "Goal-based Financial Products" rather than chasing "returns."
The result?
Today, his AUM stands at 8.1 Crores (18 SIFs), with a monthly SIP book of 31 Lakhsโand growing at crazy speed! This he built in just 6 months of time. He is now determined to build his own empire.
Sometimes we think, "This organization or person did an injustice to us." Not true,
Whatever happens, happens for good.
Karma will do the rest. Donโt waste time retaliating.
Retaliating works in movies not in real life. After all we have one life.
(this is not my story, I am still working๐)
