Today, Plateau State takes another significant step toward food security, poverty alleviation, and economic empowerment. I am delighted to announce the commissioning of 20 tractors for our farming communities and the disbursement of a $25,000 Community Revolving Fund (CRF) to ten communities under the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes Project (ACReSAL).

This initiative reflects my administration’s commitment to improving the lives of our people and ensuring the sustainable development of our state. The tractors will play a critical role in boosting agricultural productivity, while the revolving fund empowers communities financially to chart their path out of poverty.

To the recipient communities, I urge you to make judicious use of these resources, as this is not just an investment in today but a foundation for tomorrow. Let us work together to maximize every opportunity to lift our people out of poverty, improve livelihoods, and secure a prosperous Plateau State.

I extend my gratitude to the World Bank and all stakeholders for their support in driving these impactful projects. Together, we will create a Plateau where every individual can thrive.
