@ericvideos91 He is typical of a Canadian politician. He’s no worse than Doug ford or Justin Trudeau or Eby. The average Canadian is economically illiterate and vote based on emotional nonsense.
@JeffreyLuscombe As a Canadian, I bring back Chobani yogurt every time I’m in the US and I know plenty of others do too. It’s far better than any product in Canada but was pushed out due to our protective laws. Open up the markets and let the market choose. That’s how capitalism works
@Jet003832248855@CreekInCAN Unfortunately in Canada, if you didn’t vote for Trudeau, his successor, and the pack of clowns that run this gong show , you are a nazi racist “ maple maga”. This is where we are in Canada now…..
@john_stocks1 Kipushi will never build a smelter because the size of ore body and lack of electrical capacity restrictions. Shipping is expensive for Kipushi but it’s really the only option.
@jmbprime Politics aside, the US economy is far outperforming the Canadian economy on almost every metric. I don’t love that fact but it’s true and has been for quite some time.
@Harv7n @MmisterNobody My wife is a dr and has plenty of stories of seniors having to get it done. I dont completely disagree with you, but there are risks and issues on both sides.
@minenergybiz Meh, DRC doesn’t export much copper concentrate and they have excess refining capacity so there shouldn’t be much product off the market.
@ibringyoupeace Given the drug addiction, suicide rate, and the fact so many of them are so broken after they “ retire”, I’m guessing there are some significant downsides.
@TheRealKeean@Wealthsimple Td is getting killed by wealthsimple. I was offered 1% per year on my assets with them to stay. I guess that is to counter the transfer bonuses WS was handing out.
@FoodProfessor A double double and a triple triple aren’t even coffee. Might as well just drink a cup of sugar water at that point. Quality of the beans makes zero difference at Tim’s which is why they use bottom of the barrel junk.
@ekwufinance It’s regionally tight. It’s tough to ignore massive supplies being held in the US. Trump has been able to secure huge copper supplies despite an under invested industry with his tariffs.
@garquake The business models changed. A lot of the high margin profit centres like long distance calling and home lines are gone. People need to recognize the structural change that has occurred in the industry.
